Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ISTIMARA website, mobile applications and services (the “Service”), operated by ISTIMARA (“ISTIMARA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) in Qatar. By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ISTIMARA provides doorstep vehicle inspection and registration services: we collect your vehicle, arrange and complete its Fahes technical inspection and Istimara registration renewal through authorised centres and government authorities, and return it to you. Additional services may be offered over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must own the vehicle you submit or be authorised to arrange its inspection and registration.

3. Your account

You may create an account using Google Sign-In or the other methods we offer. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that occurs under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorised use.

4. Bookings, pickup and return

When you book, you authorise ISTIMARA and its vetted drivers to collect your vehicle from the location you specify, transport it as needed to complete the service, and return it. You must make the vehicle and its keys available at the agreed time and place. Condition is documented with photographs and a digital signature at both collection and return.

5. Fees and payment

You agree to pay the ISTIMARA service fee for the convenience of doorstep collection and handling. Government inspection and registration charges are set by the relevant authority and passed through at cost. All applicable fees are shown to you before you confirm a booking. Payment is processed through the methods made available in the Service.

6. Inspection and registration outcomes

ISTIMARA facilitates the inspection and registration process but does not determine its outcome. Pass, fail, or additional requirements are decided by the authorised inspection centre and government authorities. If a vehicle does not pass, we will inform you and, where possible, help you arrange the necessary work, which may involve additional fees.

7. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate account and vehicle information.
• Ensure the vehicle is lawfully owned and free of undisclosed defects that make handling unsafe.
• Remove valuables and personal items before collection.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.

8. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booking as described in the Service. Fees already incurred for work performed on your behalf may be non-refundable.

9. Prohibited use

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, submit false information, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, branding, software and design, is owned by ISTIMARA and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ISTIMARA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss beyond the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ISTIMARA harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
